A client of Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their IT operations support team to work on-site in Sugar Land TX. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity; May install software or perform hardware testing ; Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors; Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities; Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. They will need to be on site 5 days a week in SugarLand.

3+ years' experience in a desktop support related role
Strong Windows & Active Directory Troubleshooting skills (SAP & Mac would be a plus)
Experience working with Microsoft Intune for device management
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage one's time
Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software
Knowledge of hardware support relating to printers or monitors and software support with basic MS suite, OS installations
Experience or knowledge of how to remotely re-image PCs
Previous experience supporting executives and setting up conference rooms; testing equipment; and troubleshooting when needed
Previous experience working on site with face to face interactions
