Job Description

The Project Manager leads all phases of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and timelines. They coordinate across departments to manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables, while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and clients. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, responding to customer inquiries, tracking costs, managing billing, and overseeing installation logistics. The role requires site visits, vendor coordination, and adherence to safety standards, along with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction (laboratory/science or athletic facility construction)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and budgets ($4M+ projects)
- Strong skills in schedule management and financial forecasting
- Skilled in coordinating and leading meetings across stakeholders
- Ability to identify and resolve construction issues and disputes efficiently
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans (Revu Bluebeam software, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with science classroom builds (e.g., chemical countertops, fume hoods)
- Experience managing subcontractor work (e.g., turf installation, gym builds)
- Construction-related certifications or formal training
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Vista by Viewpoint
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document review and project management
- Background in manufacturing or product-based construction projects
Understanding of product specifications and vendor requirements (e.g., Porter for athletic equipment, Nevco for scoreboards, Kodiak for bleachers, Bedco for steel cabinets, Durchon for countertops, CIF for casework and cabinets)
-Ability to anticipate and coordinate project needs based on manufacturer requirements
