Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer to join a Fortune 100 Healthcare organization in Irving, TX to work in a hybrid model. This individual will join a team focused on a True Cost Initiative and will be assisting in a large migration from on prem to GCP. Day to day, this person will be supporting enhancements, migrating pipelines and jobs from on prem to the cloud, supporting preexisting cloud pipelines, as well as collaborating with Data Science teams as necessary to explain domain knowledge and answer business related questions about the work being done. This environment is partially in GCP already, so some work will be focused on the support of preexisting cloud pipelines and assisting with enhancements as needed. Candidates should come from a strong hands-on data engineering background with a minimum of 4 years of experience with Python, SQL, and a Cloud platform (preferably GCP).
