Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Facility IT Engineer in both Temple and Dallas, TX to help deploy the network infrastructure of one of our large technology clients at their healthcare client facilities. The ideal candidates will have a background in network engineering and installation and be able to deploy equipment based on preset templates. Experience working with switches and routers in the Meraki/Cisco environment is required. The day-to-day for this position will be going to client locations and surveying the spaces and performing network equipment installation. The pay rate for this position will be between $20-23/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience working in a Meraki/Cisco environment doing equipment installation/activation
Understanding of basic network configuration principals
Experience surveying the environment and deploying equipment based on preset deployment templates
Experience in performing wireless surveys
Experience communicating with stakeholders and understanding requirements - the ability to communicate with other parts of the business (operations, finance, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication and soft skills

Willingness to travel to various client locations, as needed (Mileage will be reimbursed)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CNNA/Network+
Experience in retrofitting
Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
