Insight Global is seeking to hire a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a proprietary trading firm based in Dallas, Texas.
This is a fulltime opportunity working in a hybrid capacity for a trading start up firm.
This professional will drive day-to-day execution and ensure alignment between growth, compliance, support, product delivery, and trader success. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will oversee critical departments and work cross-functionally to optimize operational efficiency, support rapid scaling, and drive sustainable profitability.
Key Responsibilities
-Oversee all operational departments including customer support, trader success, compliance, vendor management, and HR
-Design and optimize internal processes to improve speed, scalability, and cross-team alignment
-Implement KPI tracking and ensure team accountability against operational goals
-Work closely with the CEO on strategy, resource allocation, and execution priorities
-Partner with product and marketing to align customer feedback with business goals
-Lead hiring, onboarding, and culture development for operational teams
-Own vendor negotiations, contracts, and vendor performance optimization
-Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met across the business

-7+ years in senior operations or strategy roles, ideally with experience in fintech, SaaS, or a high-growth digital company
-Proven track record of building and scaling operational teams and systems
-Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services or prop trading
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities
-Data-driven mindset with experience implementing operational dashboards and OKRs
-Experience in the prop trading or retail investing industry
-Familiarity with trading platforms, trader psychology, or user behavior analytics
-Exposure to legal, risk, or enterprise compliance frameworks
-Prior startup or founder experience
