Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer to support a federal client in San Antonio. This individual will be responsible for:
- Design and/or perform system level tests to assure they are meeting Air Force specifications
- Improve systems engineering programs and processes
- Prepare technical documents to outline any and all system characteristics
- Prepare and present reports outlining planning, implementation, and corrections through the lens of engineering principles
- Write and review deliverables and requirements to be distributed to the field

- Active Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 5+ years of technical cloud and/or cyber systems experience within the DoD (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.)
- Experience supporting the design and performance of DoD systems
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) acquisitions lifecycle and/or a Program Management Office (PMO)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- 5+ years of experience preparing, reviewing, making recommendations, providing feedback for system Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documentation (Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM) Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) Briefing, Air Force Review Board (AFRB), Baseline/Acquisition Program Baseline (APB),Business Case Analysis, Clinger-Cohen Act Compliance Documentation, Defense Acquisition Board Planning, etc.)
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or CAMEO experience
- Experience with DOORS for capturing and/or tracking requirements
- DevSecOps experience
- Experience designing, implementing, and/or managing CI/CD pipelines
- Containerization experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
