Job Description

Role Responsibilities:
Engage with a diverse range of customers, external alliance partners, and suppliers to design, implement, and sustain custom solutions.
Create requirements documents, statements of work, and Bills of Materials.
Define and execute project plans, lead milestones, and conduct reviews to ensure systems meet requirements and are ready for deployment.
Specify, design, prototype, test, and deploy turnkey automated solutions.
Direct support personnel, oversee project technical deliverables, guide technical decisions, and resolve field issues.
Travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%) to support project objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering Technology.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design or Test Engineering Design role.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics, and computer architectures.
Understanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#)
Demonstrated understanding of the following concepts and principles:
Sources of measurement error
Appropriate selection of instrumentation and equipment
Understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams
Integration of hardware and software
Bill of Materials creation and review
Familiarity with CAD and PCB design tools
Statistical analysis of data (Cp, Cpk, GR&R)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Skills:
Hands on use of schematic capture tools and PCB design tools
Knowledge in Component Supplier Selection
Knowledge in Compliance Certifications (CE, UL, TUV, Etc.)
Hands on use of Hardware Platforms and Instruments
Hands on use of LabVIEW and Test Stand
