Insight Global is seeking a Security Engineer to join one of their utility clients in the DFW area. This individual will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across the organization. This position involves triaging security alerts, identifying false positives, and leveraging EDR/XDR toolssuch as SentinelOneto detect and mitigate risks. The engineer will support incident response efforts and contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.

· At least 4 years of experience in security engineering
· Hands-on experience working with EDR/XDR tools or antivirus software, such as SentinelOne
· Expertise with Active Directory
· Strong communication and attention to detail
· Minimum of a 2-year degree and equivalent working experience
· Expertise in SentinelOne, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, Cisco Secure Endpoint, etc.
· Previous experience with Vulnerability Management
· Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and CyberArk
· Experience documenting SOPs
· Certifications such as CISSP or Security+
· Experience within cloud environments
· Background in Security Operations Center (SOC)
· Exposure to SCADA or Operational Technology (OT) environments
