The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for growing existing relationships & penetrating new customers in the Broadband Infrastructure marketplace. The ideal candidate will have deep connections in Central & Western US (Texas, Nevada, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico).
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our business into new regions,
particularly with Tier 1 telecom operators in the US and enterprise customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong industry relationships and outside plant network architecture
knowledge for ISPs, carriers, suppliers, subcontractors, with the ability to travel for customer
meetings and conferences.
Other Job Responsibilities will include:
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies
Strong negotiation skills with a history of bidding and closing high-value deals
Identifying new business opportunities with existing customers across the UniTek core markets
Willingness and ability to travel frequently, up to 75% of the time, for customer meetings and
industry events
Proactively identifying and prospecting new logo opportunities across the Broadband
Infrastructure marketplace.
Develop & implement Account Development & Contact Plans with key strategic customers.
Update CRM, including notes, activities, pipeline, and forecasts, weekly.
Negotiate new contracts
Drive aggressive growth and profitability in a sustainable manner
Achieve 10 customer engagements per week.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development within the Broadband Infrastructure marketplace
Deep technical knowledge of telecom infrastructure and emerging technologies in the field
Must have strong current customer relationships
A bachelors degree in business, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
