Insight Global is currently seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join a large steel manufacturer at one of their cut-to-length facilities in Houston, TX. You will be responsible for monitoring and repairing electronics, electrical, and mechanical equipment on the Temper Line and Plasma/Oxy-Fuel Table to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime. You will lead general maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including lubrication, repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 standards and safety regulations, manage maintenance expenditures, and negotiate vendor pricing. During shutdowns, you will coordinate and monitor maintenance tasks with production, directing both the maintenance department and outside contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. You will oversee a computerized preventive and predictive maintenance program, requisition parts and supplies, and generate or improve maintenance PM programs. This position will be a set M-F 1st shift schedule overseeing a crew of 4 techs.
