Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Account Manager for one of their premier clients in the North Houston area. This role is required to be onsite 5 days a week, but does have the opportunity to work remotely one day a week after 90 days. This role will need to be readily available for their clients when issue may arise. The Account Manager will be responsible for a territory and customers within that territory will be their clients. This role will be dealing with quoting RFPs, RFIs and RFQs that the team might receive. The Account Manager could complete 10 RFQs a week or 1 depending on the information the RFQ requires. This role will work closely with the Carrier Sales team when pricing shipments for their clients. The ideal candidate has some customer service background and excellent communication. This role does have the opportunity to make commission once the candidate hits the goal metric. He / She will have a driven personality and have a passion for sales and customer service.

Required Skills & Experience

-2+ years of experience working in a Account Management role

-Manage assigned accounts including all communication to and from customers on a daily basis and be available to the respond and resolve escalations

-Assure that all pre-alerts from origin offices are assembled and completed based on SOP requirements

-Send all required reports to customer on a daily, monthly or quarterly basis as required

-Manage all customer requests and follow up to insure that the customer needs are met
