An oncology clinic is seeking a GYN Clinic RN to join their team at their Central Austin location. This person will be responsible for:
-Planning, implementing, coordinating, evaluating and promoting the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
-Assessing health statuses by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
-Assessing patient/family needs and providing teaching and other instructional material.
-Providing psychosocial support to patients and families.
-Facilitating clinical operations and patient care
-Managing patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and recording the information in the patient chart.
-Facilitating and scheduling consultations, pre-testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients.
-Triaging patient phone calls as needed and documenting relevant information in the patient's chart.
-As necessary, facilitating communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinating services related to patient care.
-Assisting patients in locating available community resources.
-Acting as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

-Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
-Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in Texas.
-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
