Friday-Sunday 4:00pm-4:00am
Seeking a Robotics Service Technician to join the humanoid product ecosystem of a leading robotics company. This position will be responsible for daily robot and system operation, repairs, maintenance, and spare parts management. In addition, this role is focused on maintaining high uptime on robotic systems, documenting performance, tracking fleet reliability, and potentially training other team members. 75% repair replacements, 25% documentation. Responsibilities also include:
Report daily status of robots and connected equipment
Perform all activities related to system bring-up, troubleshooting, emergent service, preventative maintenance, and spare parts management
Document processes, work instructions, user manuals, troubleshooting guides, knowledgebase articles, FAQ's, training plans, and any other materials needed to maximize system uptime
Create status reports, dashboards, Pareto charts, and other analyses to show key metrics
Record and document system performance, issues, and suggestions for improvement

Experience servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining complex electro-mechanical systems
Familiarity with software systems, especially Linux, R-Viz, Plot Juggler, and ROS
Experience with command line interface on PC systems (Linux)
Robots and Automation servicing experience
Familiarity with Jira Service Management for issue ticketing, reporting, and tracking
Experience in deploying and integrating cloud-based platforms with warehouse and manufacturing management systems
Experience soldering (through hole and surface mount)
Experience training others (company and customer personnel)
Experience operating in a VR environment
Familiarity with Unity or other video game engines and SteamVR
