Job Description

A utilities client in Houston, TX is seeking a Data Analyst to join their underground engineering team in East Downtown. The Analyst will be responsible for maintaining data records, identifying improvement areas, and communicating recommendations to management in order to improve record accuracy, efficiency, and quality. Some of their daily tasks include analyzing and manipulating reports in SAP, executing quality assurance testing plans, conducting research, and data system updates. The underground engineering group is close-knit, collaborative, and offers excellent team culture. Additionally, this role requires a candidate with strong critical thinking skills who is passionate about learning and research.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience utilizing SAP
Experience with Power BI
Knowledge of Visual Basic
Ability to manipulate data/reports
Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background in Utilities Industry
Experience with data governance
Familiar with Azure
Programming knowledge in SQL or Python languages
Knowledge of basic coding
