Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Director of Learning & Development to own and manage an enterprise-wide L&D strategy. This role will drive employee growth, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness by aligning training initiatives with business goals. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this leader will collaborate with senior leaders and Executives to shape a culture of continuous learning and talent development. It is imperative this individual is passionate and comfortable administering in-classroom training as well as developing strategic learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:
--Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a forward-looking L&D strategy aligned with corporate goals. Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and drive cultural transformation.

--Program Development & Delivery:
Design and manage leadership, onboarding, and professional development programs using modern learning technologies and methods.

--Sales Enablement:
Oversee sales training programs, manage vendor relationships, and co-lead the annual Sales Kick-Off.

--Talent Development:
Lead succession planning, mentorship, and career pathing initiatives. Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions.

--Performance Measurement:
Define and track key metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning outcomes.

--Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a high-performing L&D team and external partners to ensure quality and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

-Must be able to work onsite 2 days per week (Mon & Wed)
-8+ years of progressive experience in corporate learning and development
-5+ years in a managerial or senior leadership role
- Strong in-classroom training and facilitation skill set
- Demonstrated experience in building and scaling L&D strategies in mid to enterprise level organizations (2K-5K employees)
- Proven success with leadership development, digital learning strategies, and performance enablement.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into action
-Excellent executive presence, communication, facilitation, and change management skills
-Experienced with LMS platforms, learning analytics, and content development tools
Comfortable traveling up to 15% (domestic & international)

Prior experience working at a global organization
Experience with SkillSoft LMS platform
Prior Sales Enablement training
