Job Description

A local non-profit is looking for a Journeyman Plumber/Technician III to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The primary responsibility is to perform plumbing repairs and maintenance on various structures including company buildings and warehouses.

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems
• Maintain accurate log of completed jobs
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, and building codes
• Troubleshoot and repair systems related to electronics, sprinkler systems, mechanical, and HVAC • Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Respond to emergency calls as needed
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safe work practices
• Maintains local purchase, and other records for parts and materials needed to complete work
• May supervise lower-level electricians
• Other duties as assigned or requested

Required Skills & Experience

o Journeyman plumber license
o 3 years commercial/industrial exp
· (high-capacity water and waste systems, sprinkler systems, process piping, and specialized equipment.)
· materials like steel, stainless steel, or specialized plastics; includes HVAC, fire suppression, and industrial process piping.
· OSHA standards, NFPA (fire safety), and local building codes for commercial/industrial properties.
· Working with Engineers
o General Knowledge
· Able to help with some HVAC or carpentry because there may not always be plumbing specific work (handyman)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree
