Job Description

An employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to join their IT team. This team is responsible for the support, maintenance, and optimization of the company's technical environment including both software and hardware. On a daily basis, this person will be spending 50-75% of their time resolving technical issues and the other 25-50% of their time supporting optimization projects and technical enhancements. The helpdesk technician will be supporting a user base of 120 and monthly ticket intake of 100-130.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years experience in Helpdesk / IT Support roles
Experience supporting Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience supporting Windows and iOS
Basic hardware troubleshooting including printers and computer installations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Cloud experience
Ability to support optimization and new project development for the organization
