Job Description
The Safety Compliance Consultant ensures the organization's safety policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations, focusing on policy review and OSHA audits. This role involves overseeing documentation, evaluating safety procedures, and developing safety auditing policies. The consultant conducts onsite audits, identifies problem areas, and recommends improvements. They develop and evaluate employee safety programs, provide technical consulting, and assist management with safety compliance. The role includes monitoring safety regulations, developing training content, leading audits, and maintaining professional expertise. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, audit experience, and effective communication skills are essential. This individual will work in an office setting with minimal travel.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors Degree in a safety related field
6-8 years of experience in OSHA compliance
Experience doing OSHA internal audits and creating action items for the field
Experience reviewing OSHA inspection reports, creating changes, and overseeing this process through completion
Experience creating new OSHA programs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
ISO 45001 experience or certification
Management of Change experience
