Job Description

Are you ready to drive profitable growth and make a significant impact in the Surety lines of business? We are looking for a dynamic Surety Underwriter to lead our efforts in production, underwriting, sales, and service. Your role will be pivotal in developing and maintaining strong agency relationships, ensuring our success in the Texas territory.

As the Surety Underwriter, you will primarily focus on the Contract Surety line of business, while also collaborating with the Commercial Surety Manager on larger commercial Surety risks, production, and agency management. This exciting opportunity is based out of our Richardson, TX office.

Required Skills & Experience

2 years of Surety Underwriting Experience
Bachelor's Degree
Advanced understanding of contract Surety products and underwriting
Ability to analyze financial information, credit reports, contracts, and underlying bond obligations.
Strong knowledge of Surety automation systems and ability to train end users.
Excellent customer focus and exceptional interpersonal and sales skills.
