The Sr. Escrow Officer is primarily responsible for completing all tasks and responsibilities associated with intake, processing, closing, and funding new title orders.
*Understanding the escrow process to determine what steps need to be taken to conduct a closing pursuant to the conditions called for in the real estate contract and lender instructions.
*Collaborates with the title department to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, etc.
*Reviews title commitments for accuracy and completeness to ensure all requirements are satisfied and works with appropriate parties to prepare documents for closing.
*Conducts closing, in office or in conjunction with an outside vendor, with customer, realtor, lenders, and attorneys.
*Receives and reviews all documents for accuracy and completeness and prepares files for disbursement.
*Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organizations Values.

*Holding a current Escrow License for a minimum of 5 years, completing continuing education to maintain licensure.
*5 years of recent title insurance and escrow experience.
*Must be knowledgeable and proficient in the use of title insurance and closing software solutions.
*Must have an active portable book of business in the area (NB, Kyle, Buda, Greene, Austin and surrounding areas)
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Must demonstrate good problem-solving skills and sound judgment/reasoning skills.
*Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, volume production-driven environment. Work flexible hours as needed, including possible weekends. Availability for periodic travel to work-site locations.
