Job Description

An employer in Houston, TX is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst. This person will be responsible for supporting 2000+ end users and be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues, setting up and imaging employees new laptops and desktops, backing up data, moving machines from one domain to the next, and managing ticket system. Candidate will also be helping upgrade memory and SSD drives along with replacing out dated hardware. This person needs to be comfortable interfacing with users both in person and remotely. Candidate needs to have excellent verbal and written communication, as well as a great customer service attitude. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $30-35/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7+ years experience in a Desktop Support role
Experience supporting Active Directory
Strong understanding and knowledge supporting MS Office suite products
Migration experience (ideally Win 10 to Win 11)
Experience re-imagining PCs
PC build out/hardware experience
Enterprise level experience
Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous O&G Industry experience
AV troubleshooting and support experience
