Job Description

A natural gas operator is hiring a Project Coordinator to join their team in Houston, Texas. The Project Coordinators main responsibility is to work closely with project managers, functional managers, and engineers to support a variety of project support and coordination initiatives needed for successful project execution. In this role, you will support data gathering and analytics across various engineering and project management areas, including project cost, schedule, quality, and efficiency performance. You will manage the company's Management of Change (MOC) process, handling MOC documentation and coordinating/tracking MOC activities. Additionally, you will track project KPIs and performance metrics, documenting performance trends. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the contracting process and invoice management for third-party engineering and consulting services, interfacing with internal and external project stakeholders, and monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance metrics. You will manage and lead project tasks as assigned by department managers and senior-level engineers/project managers, assist with department process improvement initiatives, and prepare written reports and other project communication materials. Completing tasks with a high level of accuracy and quality, efficiently and on time, and supporting the overall functional teams in a helpful and positive manner are key aspects of this role.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7 years of experience working in a project team environment in oil and gas industry

Proficient in MS Suite

Full understanding of project lifecycle processes and best practices

Experience supporting management of change (MOC) documentation and tracking

Experience data gathering and analytics for various areas of engineering and project management, including project cost, schedule, quality, and efficiency performance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree

Understanding of Power BI

Natural gas or EPC industry experience
