Day-to-Day:
The Communications Manager handles senior-level public relations and communications tasks. They oversee the creation and production of informational materials for various audiences, including the media, employees, stakeholders, other agencies, and the public. As part of the creative and content team, they shape and disseminate the agency's messages through different mediums and approaches. They also manage responses to media and stakeholder inquiries. The role allows for significant initiative and independent judgment due to limited supervision.

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, English, Public Administration, Communications, Media Relations or related field
5+ years of experience within public relations, public information, communications, news media, or media relations
Experience working within transportation or government/federal space
Bilingual in Spanish and English
