An MEP client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of plumbing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all plumbing activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of plumbers, apprentices, and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards and project requirements. Address any issues promptly to maintain quality and safety.
Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage resources efficiently to control costs and maximize profitability.
Client Relations: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and material inventories.

- 10+ years of experience as a superintendent for a mechanical or plumbing company
- Comfortable traveling 60-70% of the time
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Experience with Med-Gas
- Experience managing subcontractors and other internal employees
