Job Description

As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for various events and meetings. Your duties will include installing and configuring AV systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring high-quality audio and visual output. You will collaborate with event organizers to understand their requirements and provide technical support throughout the event.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of hands-on AV technician experience.
- Ability to set up projects, screens, switchboards, cameras, live streaming, and built-in equipment.
- Experience with Crestron and Kramer AV equipment.

- Transport, install, and test sound and video systems, including speakers, microphones, projectors, screens, monitors, cameras, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or malfunctions during events or productions.
- Coordinate with clients, event planners, or production staff to ensure smooth and successful delivery of audio and video services.
- Edit and copy audio and video files, create graphics or slides, and operate software or hardware for multimedia production.
- Clean, repair, and maintain audio and video equipment and inventory.
- Be accountable for the upkeep, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all supported AV implementations, including projectors, TVs, smart screens, audio equipment, computers, tablets, and other technology devices.
- Serve as the central coordination point for new hardware installs and break/fix repairs across multiple campuses and colleges.
- Work with hardware and software vendors and coordinate with onsite resources.
