Insight Global is assisting a client in the Dallas / Fort Worth area to identify a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization. This role is essential for managing and optimizing our accounts payable processes as our company continues to grow and secure long-term contracts in the aerospace repair and maintenance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of outgoing payments.
Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
Verify and process invoices, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained and payments are made in accordance with company policies.
Maintain vendor relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving any payment-related issues.
Generate and analyze accounts payable reports to monitor outstanding payables and identify trends. Prepare detailed financial reports as needed.
Utilize ERP systems, particularly Quantum Control, and assist in the transition to SAP in January 2026. Ensure data integrity and efficient use of the systems.
Assist with month-end closing processes, ensuring all accounts payable activities are accurately reflected in the financial statements.
Conduct trend analysis on payables to identify patterns and provide insights for improving cash flow management.
Accurately input and maintain accounts payable information in the system.
Process external invoices, employee expense reports, and third-party/company invoices.
Manage a daily volume of 10 invoices, with a backlog of 200-300 invoices, and in the future potentially manage up to 5000 invoices monthly.
Find and reconcile open purchase orders (POs) and perform accounts payable reconciliations.

2-5 years of experience in accounts payable.
Proficiency in Quantum Control ERP, with the ability to transition to SAP in January 2026.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel for performing reconciliations and analysis.
Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week at the local Forth Worth, TX office
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Familiarity with the aerospace or maintenance industry
