A large automotive client is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in cabling (fiber and copper), power balancing, and data center operations. This role involves working in a large data center environment, handling tickets, performing audits, installations, and troubleshooting. Flexibility in shifts and occasional weekend work is required. In this role you will have the opportunity to make history by joining a new build for one of the largest companies in the world.

Extensive knowledge of fiber and copper cabling.
Experience with cabling tools (OTDR, OLTS, fiber meters). Ability to troubleshoot fiber cables and connectors (LC, MPO).
Understanding of power balancing in data centers.
Willingness to work flexible shifts and occasional weekends.
Basic to moderate proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience with new build data centers.
Experience in a large data center environment.
Enjoys fast paced environment.
Familiarity with ticketing systems.
