We are looking for an Income Tax Specialist to join the tax team of one of our clients in Coppell, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling U.S. federal and state income tax returns for corporations and partnerships. The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare tax documents.
Help with quarterly and annual tax calculations.
Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with laws.
Assist with tax planning to optimize tax positions.
Respond to tax notices and inquiries.
Support audits by organizing documents.
Maintain tax records and meet filing deadlines.
Work with finance and legal teams on tax matters.
Improve processes for better tax compliance and reporting.

2 years of experience in general accounting.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Previous experience with Oracle NetSuite or other enterprise-level general ledger systems.
CPA or progressed toward CPA.
Experience in US federal and state income tax compliance within a corporate or partnership organization.
Proficiency in enterprise-level tax software.
