Job Description

Insight Global is looking is seeking a highly skilled IT Service Delivery Support Engineer to join our Retail Pharmaceutical client's team. This role is not a full-time developer position but instead focuses on supporting IT service delivery operations, troubleshooting complex data integrations, and ensuring system stability. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a support-oriented mindset, and the ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for critical IT service delivery operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle, DB2, SQL, and Unix environments, including scripting.
Support ETL processes that handle complex data extraction from relational database management systems.
Manage and monitor cloud-based applications and their integrations.
Work with MicroStrategy for reporting and analytics support.
Provide hands-on experience with Java / J2EE, Spring, and DevOps methodologies.
Utilize Maestro or IBM scheduling tools to manage workflows and job automation.
Collaborate with teams to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.
Ensure effective incident management and documentation using ServiceNow.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with database technologies: Oracle, DB2, SQL.
Proficiency in Unix and scripting.
Hands-on experience with cloud applications and deployment models.
Knowledge of MicroStrategy for reporting support.
Understanding of Java / J2EE, Spring, and DevOps principles.
Familiarity with ETL processes for complex data extraction and transformation.
Experience using Maestro or IBM scheduling tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

At least 8+ years of experience in IT or development
Experience with IICS, SSIS for ETL development.
Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management.
Knowledge of Imperva and Load Balancer technologies.
Prior experience as an ETL Informatica/IICS Developer working on diverse database projects.
Proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter.
