Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a SQL Data Analyst to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit local to Richardson, Texas. This individual will be joining the Data Governance team in an effort to work with the banks credit card data. They will be responsible for working on the control implementation involving the analytics of data and writing SQL queries from scratch, mostly for the credit card business. They will be interacting with business teams that work on credit bureau reporting, and assist in determining credit worthiness for loans. This team is going onsite 4 times a week in Richardson Texas.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of professional experience
Excellent SQL experience - Used for analyzing and writing queries from scratch
Experience working with a business team to develop functional requirements and translating those into technical requirements
Ability to work with stakeholders on projects to develop strategies and solutions, related to data
Proficient with spreadsheet/presentation/dashboard tools and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new changes
Bachelor's degree, ideally in related field (finance, information science, statistics, comp science)
Previous experience working with credit card data

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Python coding experience
Experience defining a governance roadmap, identifying KRIs, defining KPIs, and leading the control implementation.
Software engineering background
