Job Description

A large utilities client is looking for a Senior Program Engineer to join their growing team in Austin, TX. Apt experience in the water/wastewater utilities industry is required. The Senior Project Engineer oversees a statewide team of in-house and consulting Engineers, Designers, Estimators, Drafters, and Project Coordinators. Responsible for managing $100M+ in annual capital projects for water and wastewater infrastructure, including a 100+ mile/year water main replacement program, while building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful planning, coordination, design, permitting, and financial management.

**This role does require frequent travel to project and construction sites in Austin, Dallas, and Houston, TX.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Sanitary Engineer
- Registered PE in Texas
- 5+ years of engineering experience in water/wastewater utility industry
- Proven experience managing a team of engineers across multiple locations to plan and execute large scale capital programs
