Required Skills & Experience

Professional Engineer (PE) License: Must hold a valid PE license within the state of Texas.
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Experience: At least four years of progressive engineering experience, preferably in utility services or related field(s).
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage projects from concept through construction, including coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice to have:
Prior experience supporting - Public Sector (municipalities, state and federal - governmental entities)

Core Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Create and develop electrical system designs for utility services, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept through construction, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and conducting site inspections.
Collaboration: Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into larger infrastructure projects.
