Job Description

Analyst will be responsible for the process of implementation and support for the Epic Beaker Anatomic pathology module, including scoping, workflow mapping, data mapping, system build, testing, and go-live support; aiming to streamline the management of tissue samples and reporting within the Anatomic pathology department by leveraging Epic's electronic medical record system. Previous Beaker AP implementation experience is required. Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to optimize workflows. Additional specific duties related to the project as dictate by the client

Required Skills & Experience

Previous Beaker AP implementation experience is required
Requirements Gathering: Understand the specific needs of the Anatomic Pathology department regarding specimen accessioning and collection, frozen specimen workflows, cold ischemia build, specimen disposal, workflow optimization, specimen tracking, reporting, and integration with other systems. Strong understanding of Anatomic pathology workflows required. Work closely with project leadership and end users to document current and future state Anatomic pathology workflows.
System Configuration: Setting up the Beaker Anatomic Pathology module including orderables and cases, all aspects of Anatomic pathology processing and documentation, result formats, reporting templates, and quality control.
Apply technical expertise to client system build in order to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Data Migration: Transferring data from the legacy system to Beaker, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Interface Development: Coordinating with IT teams to establish integrations between Beaker AP and other systems.
Testing and Validation: Thoroughly testing the system functionality to identify and resolve issues before go-live.
Go-Live Support: Providing assistance during the transition to the new system, addressing user concerns and resolving any technical problems
