Job Description

A large banking and financial services client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The senior accountant will be responsible for reconciliations, reporting, journal entries, and other daily functions. This position reports to the Director of Financial Accounting & Reporting and plays a critical role in ensuring that the analysis and accounting necessary to maintain the financial statements and accounting records are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have full cycle accounting experience and be able to hit the ground running.

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of experience in general accounting with strong organizational and communication skills
-Technical accounting knowledge
-Full-cycle accounting experience
-Prior large to mid-sized company experience
-Proficiency with US GAAP and other regulations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-CPA (eligible or passed)
-Prior banking/financial services experience
