Secret Cleared ELINT Software Systems Engineer Level 4

An employer in the Greenville, TX area is seeking an ELINT Systems Engineer who will be involved in activities directly related to the design, and development of complex, specialized ELINT hardware/software systems to process and manipulate ISR data from multiple data sources. As a Systems Engineer, knowledge of the Systems Engineering paradigm, specifically the V-model will be required. Writing requirements, supporting software development and testing in both Systems integration Labs (SILs) and onboard various platforms will be some of the expected daily tasks.
Works closely with the customer to comprehensively design and implement new system functionality. Writes requirements, supports development, performs integration testing of new or modified products in a Systems Integration Laboratory and on airborne and ground-based platforms. Verifies and validates new baseline functionality while ensuring legacy functionality continues to work as intended.
Will interface with other Systems Engineers, Agile Development Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering to understand new baseline functionality.
Will work closely with company's Internal Research and Development (IR&D) developing proprietary ELINT technology and capabilities.
Follows existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with system hardware and software and verifies subsequent anomaly fixes.
Interfaces with the customer to ensure their satisfaction with system performance.
Will work with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets required to accomplish assigned work.
Will provide regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to management and the customer.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
6+ years of experience with ELINT radar intelligence systems engineering
Possess knowledge and understanding of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
Knowledge of the Systems Engineering paradigm, specifically the V-model
Experience following existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with system hardware and software and verify subsequent anomaly fixes
Experience writing requirements, supporting software development and performing integration testing
Ability to support proposals and bidding in response to a customer Request for Proposal (RFP).

Possess strong communication skills and able to build and maintain professional relationships
Understanding of RF communication systems, modulations, encoding and multiplexing
Understanding of single and multi-ship direction finding techniques including technology trade-offs, watson-watt, doppler, correlative interferometry, TDOA, and FOA
Comfort with Matlab scripting
Familiarity with Hypervisor, containers, and Linux operating including comfort with Command Line Linux
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems specifically System Application Products (SAP)
Possess in depth knowledge of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology
Possess in-depth knowledge of Antenna Array design
Possess basic to in-depth knowledge of project management
