Job Description

Insight Global is partnering with a leading water management company in Houston to hire a Senior Corporate Financial Analyst. The Senior Corporate Financial Analyst will join a team of 6 and support key functions within the Finance and Accounting department, including Corporate Finance, FP&A, Corporate Development, Strategy & Sustainability, and Investor Relations. This individual will serve as the bridge of knowledge between the financial analyst and the VPs. This role involves managing the annual budget process, maintaining financial models, conducting in-depth analysis for investments, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership, including the CEO, CFO, and VPs. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, variance analyses, and ad hoc presentations, as well as supporting investor relations activities such as earnings reports, conferences, and external communications. The position requires a strong analytical skillset, advanced financial modeling abilities, excellent communication, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role will be onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and offers competitive benefits and a yearly bonus.

Required Skills & Experience

-Proficient in Excel executing financial models, budgeting/forecasting, data analysis, reporting, data cleanup, Ad Hoc analysis, and process improvement
-Relevant experience Financial Analyst experience
-Strong understanding of the three financial statements
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
-Proficient in PowerPoint creating presentations for upper management and stakeholders
-Strong communication and presentation skills with executive level employees
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry terms and practices

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-2-5 years of relevant Financial Analyst experience
-2 years of experience in investment banking or 4-5 years of experience as a financial analyst in the energy industry
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a large university
- Experience working with a company that does frequent acquisitions
