Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Pipeline Project Engineer in Beaumont, Texas. The role involves comprehensive project management tasks such as routine project updates, forecasting, cost control, schedule adherence, change management, documentation, and closeout activities. The project manager will work with the project owner to define and develop project scope, goals, and deliverables, and will develop cost and schedule estimates based on vendor information and market conditions, preparing funding requests as needed. Ensuring compliance with company and industry specifications, policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (DOT, PHMSA, FERC) is crucial. The role also includes assembling bid packages, coordinating bid evaluations and awards with procurement, and communicating with vendors for quotes and follow-ups on purchases. Additionally, the project manager will oversee contractors, costs, progress, and scope of work, and coordinate drawing/document reviews, RFIs, change proposals, and orders. They will interface with contractors and Golden Pass functions such as Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Turnaround Planning, and coordinate work permits and participate in commissioning and startup activities. Finally, the project manager will develop project documentation for mechanical completion, commissioning, and startup, ensuring all modifications are documented, incorporated into the master set, and released to Operations in a timely manner. The primary responsibility is to maintain the protection of the environment and the health and safety of employees, customers, and the community. This includes participating in HSE reviews, site observations, permit audits, and housekeeping inspections. This is based in Beaumont, Texas but would require ~60% travel in a 70 mile radious

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

10+ years of Industry Experience on small capital and expense projects at operating facility/pipeline

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Process Flow Diagrams, including flow charts, cause/effect diagrams, P&IDs, and fabrication drawings.

Field Commissioning and startup planning and execution experience

Knowledge of project cost and scheduling techniques

Knowledge of equipment specification and procurement

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Stage Gate System Experience

MOC System Experience

Regulated Pipeline Experience
