Insight Global is looking for a Civil Engineer for an energy client in Houston, TX. This individual will be supporting the foundation design and implantation for a power generation facility to ensure the foundation is prepared to support heavy rotating equipment. They will be responsible for taking the issue for construction prints and walking the work down in the field to determine that the work is being followed based on the drawings. They will work closely with other engineers on any of the mechanical or electrical embedment's in the foundation to ensure those parts are present and in the correct placements as well as conduct dimensional checks for other hardware embedded in the concrete. Other responsibilities will include recording field test results and monitoring lab results for any concrete placements. This individual should be familiar with tracking testing results associated with concrete placement and organizing the data in spreadsheet format to keep track by foundation name, testing results, etc. This role is expected to work a 5-10s schedule Monday - Friday and Saturdays as needed for weather make-up.
