A client of Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to join their team in downtown Houston, TX. This person will be responsible for managing and coordinating logistics operations, including transportation to and from job sites. They will analyze logistics data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement, and develop and maintain reports on key logistics KPIs, including cost, service levels and efficiency. Lastly this person will build and maintain relationships with logistics service providers and vendors, negotiate contracts and manage service level agreements (SLAs) to achieve high performance standards. This role requires collaboration with operations, supply chain, finance, and HSE teams to align logistics strategy with overall business goals and regulatory requirements.

3-7 years of upstream oil and gas logistics experience
Bachelors degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
E&P logistics experience
Understand complexities around transporting Casing/Pipe, Well Heads, Liner Hangers and Float Equipment
Experience working with drill site managers
Ability to clearly communicate and report status updates to stakeholders
Experience in leading or supporting logistics-related projects or process improvement initiatives.
Self-starter with a track record of strategic initiative development and management
