Insight Global is looking for an Implementation Support Specialist to join one of our electrical distribution clients in Irving, TX. This role will assist the Profit Center management to support and maintain their AMS platform.
AMS consists of web-based mobile applications to help our PCs and their customers manage products at the customer site. This position will provide support for PCs and their customers as well as assistance with implementation and training.
Successful candidates will have experience implementing IT technologies. Candidates must have the ability to quickly grasp strategic goals of management and develop, manage and execute plans to meet the desired goals.
Implementation of AMS systems:
o Develop plans with Profit Center management to implement and support AMS systems
o Provide ongoing technical support, adoption guidance for AMS
o When required, assist Profit Center management and sales engineers to assist customers to adopt the technologies. This may require one-on-one assistance or campaign/event planning and execution.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by Profit Centers and end-users
o Generate and, where necessary, escalate support cases to product development teams
o Provide on-going consultation to Profit Center management on AMS systems
Support IT Product Owners by helping with collection of feedback
Assist IT management to develop formal processes and procedures for this support organization

Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT or Project Management or related fields
Minimum of 2 years work experience leading software implementations, performing product support
Experience working with an inventory product platform (Not necessary but helpful)
Experience with end-user customer support and system administration
Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with field users, product teams and management group
Ability to work and communicate independently; and demonstrated ability to use good judgement
Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
Experience working with development teams and using support ticketing system(s)
Experience selling technology solutions to management and end-users is a plus
- Experience with end-user customer support and system administration
- Experience working with Excel
- Experience with tools such as Fresh Service (customer's support platform)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with field users, product teams and management group
- Ability to work and communicate independently; and demonstrated ability to use good judgement
- Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
