Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join the team with one of our financial clients located in Houston, TX. This office location currently has about 100 users that you will be supporting alongside one other individual. It will be a combination of both deskside and over the phone support for executives, managers, support staff, and anyone across the firm who needs assistance. You will be handling level 1, level 2, and level 3, both hardware and software support. You should also have basic networking knowledge, including IDF infrastructure, racking and stacking, routing and switching, wireless access point, etc. We are looking for someone with both great technical knowledge and customer service skills.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years' experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
-Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues
-Experience with basic networking, such as IDF's, racking/stacking, routing/switching, and wireless access points
-Experience with virtual desktop environments
-White glove deskside support
-Experience with a Windows environment

-Financial industry background
