Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist II in the San Antonio, TX market. This individual will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves handling complex invoicing issues, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting the accounting department in financial reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working as an Accounts Payable Specialist
5+ years of experience utilizing a ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, Quickbooks, etc.
4+ years of experience working with a mid to large size organization with a high volume of AP transactions
Proficient in Microsoft Suites - Excel, ability to create, utilize and navigate through pivot tables, V-look ups, Macros, etc.
Must have self efficient and independent work ethic/characteristics
Ability to prioritize their responsibilities and to-do list in accordance to most urgent task needed to be completed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree within Accounting, Finance or related field
Federal contracting experience
Experience utilizing the ERP system, Costpoint
