Job Description

A manufacturing company in the Houston area is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their company. This role is 100% onsite, and the annual salary range is from $70,000-$85,000. This person will be responsible for all of the maintenance of electrical units within the facility. They will also be assisting with the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of electrical products that are manufactured by the company. They will also be installing and programming electrical equipment as needed.
They will also be assisting with the design, blueprints and schematics of new tools used by the company.

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma or GED

5+ years of working experience with a valid Journeyman electrician license

OSHA 10 Certification

Strong understanding of local electrical codes and safety regulations

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

Experience working in an electrical instrumentation environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

HVAC knowledge

Experience working in a chemical environment
