Job Description

An Oil & Gas client in Houston is adding an Engineering Tech to their Midland Basin Engineering team (based in Houston). The Engineering Tech will be responsible for researching well files, summarizing workover histories, pulling well data, building wellbore diagrams, and submitting W-3A applications to TRRC. Partnering with a Production Engineer to help with various documentation for a specific area for well support and marginal wells. This is a 6-month contract, with the potential to be extended or go permanent, dependent upon project scope or status. This position will work on a hybrid 9/80 schedule, Monday and every other Friday from home, Tuesday Thursday in the office.

Required Skills & Experience

-At least 5 years within an Engineering Tech or support role
-Bachelors Degree in related field
-Excellent Communication
-Detailed-oriented and adaptable
-Oil & Gas Experience
-Proficient within Excel, Microsoft Suite
-Knowledge of Wellbore Schematics / Wellbore Diagrams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Bachelors Degree in Engineering
-Experience in Well Servicing
-Permian/Midland Basin P&A Experience
-Experience with a SCADA platform
