Job Description

A fortune 500 aerospace and defense client is looking for Product Cybersecurity Engineer's to join their team in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of working experience in developing, integrating and testing systems/software in an embedded aircraft environment. This person will interface with suppliers, define requirements, and work in a clean sheet design environment. This candidate will be responsible for being able to approach/implement new architecture in an aircraft environment and have excellent communication skills to ensure all parties are aligned.

This position is offered onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. This client works a 9/80 schedule, so you will have off every other Friday.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 2 years of true engineer design experience
Experience in developing, integrating and testing systems/software in an embedded aircraft environment
System/Sub-System cybersecurity experience that has working experience with: redundancy, independence, criticalities, systems separation and dependencies of functions
Aircraft integrator who understands data flow and allocation across multiple design functions
Experience with implementation in the following areas: user/device authentication, embedded cross domain solutions, tactical cryptographic key management, embedded encryption, or embedded intrusion protection/detection systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Model Based Systems Engineering (CAMEO proficient desired)
Knowledgeable in DO-178C and DO-254 execution
Experience with MOSA and Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) is a plus
Experience with communication standards such as ARINC 429, Mil-Std 1553, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and Networking (TCP/IP, TSN, DDS, SSL/TLS)
Security related protocol experience such as ARINC 653, 615A, and 655-5 is a plus

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Mechanical or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
