Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Epic Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join one of our largest IT healthcare clients in the greater Texas area. The ideal candidate will bring comprehensive knowledge of both inpatient and outpatient clinical workflows within Epic modules. This role involves partnering with end clients to develop strategic roadmaps for the next six months to a year, articulating their vision effectively. You will focus on app rationalization and leveraging Epic modules currently used by the end client and beyond. The ideal candidate will have recent Epic experience in the healthcare field. Responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the company and the end client, collaborating closely with clinical applications, and independently conducting strategic road mapping sessions. Ideal candidates will also have knowledge with various Epic modules such as Cadence, Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory, and beyond. You should have a strong background in these areas and be able to effectively communicate and implement strategies that align with the clients goals. You will also bring your knowledge of the healthcare industry as a whole outside of Epic to provide a holistic approach to the company. The candidate must be a versatile subject matter expert, capable of working closely with clinical applications and earning the trust of the team.

Required Skills & Experience

-6+ years of experience working within Epic Modules, and is considered a subject matter expert.
-Must have experience in strategic planning, thought leadership, and road mapping in a high level role.
-Strong background and track record of working within inpatient and outpatient modules.
-Ability to collaborate and outline company roadmaps as well as presenting to clients with a professional demeanor.
-Recent background in healthcare and well versed in the Epic modules required in a healthcare setting.
-Knowledge in Ambulatory, Cadence, and Revenue Epic Modules
-Great communication and articulation skills with a background dealing with stakeholders and healthcare clientele.
-Willing to travel at least once a month to North Texas for stakeholder meetings

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Epic Certifications in Ambulatory, Cadence, Prelude, and Resolute professional billing.
-Background working at Epic.

Pay Rate: $60-$90/hr

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
