Day-to-day:
An employer in the Corpus Christi, TX area is looking for a Sr. Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of 3 major water/ wastewater projects in Corpus Christi. These projects range from$2 million to $20 million and have a length of 3 1/2 to 5 years. The right candidate will; be responsible for complete over sight of these projects including but not limited to design evaluation, coordinating material labor budgets, full cycle project methodology, customer interaction, and the oversight of a team of 3-5 people. They will work hands-on on these projects around 80% of the time and be responsible for employee management around 20%. This can pay between 120k-150k depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
· Works closely with Client personnel, Project Managers, client field personnel, land men and electrical contractors, as well as all internal departments to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Develop project plans, timelines and scope that accurately define resource requirements, schedules, task duration and cost estimates.
· Prepare project bids and cost estimates for client review and approval.
· Reviews and approves project deliverables (GIS maps, CAD One lines, SOW, PLS CAD Docs and reports, etc.) prior to client submission to ensure completeness and accuracy.
· Participate in client contract negotiations and change order preparation.
· Oversee project meetings (project kickoff, client alignment, status meetings, progress review, etc.).
Approve project related time sheets, expenses, and invoices.
