A company in the Houston area is looking for a Microgrid Site Auditor to join their team.
Inspects microgrid system sites including safety related controls, state of equipment and operations readiness, identification of equipment, operation readiness.
Identifies problem areas, potential risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
Composes and presents audit reports containing the results of the site audit (findings and recommendations).
Recommends improvements to the existing internal standards.
Compensation:
$50/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Engineering background, preferably electrical engineering or oil and gas.
Experience in performing operations site audits in the energy and/or utilities industry.
Understanding of electrical systems functionality and associated critical equipment (generators, switchgear, switchboards, transformers).
Expertise in the energy and utilities industry standards for operations, health, safety and environmental compliance.
Ability to correctly conduct in-field energy assessments.
