Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Batch Plant Lead for a large precast concrete company in San Antonio, TX. The Batch Plant Lead will be primarily responsible for supervising and providing correct mixes and quantities of concrete in a timely manner for the production team. This individual will report to the Batch Plant Supervisor and will have a team of 4-6 individuals who will report directly to them. The Batch Plant Lead is in charge of managing those 4-6 individuals' scheduling, monitoring all material in the batch plant (rock, sand, cement, chemicals, etc.), coordinating all bed timings and will be responsible for the 4 trucks associated with the plant itself. Other responsibilities include maintenance for the batch plant and cleanliness of the facility.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED
2+ years of previous experience in the precast environment (examples above)
Comfortable being a hands-on employee
Ability to manage/supervise a team of 4-6 individuals below them

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Knows how to drive and operate a loader
