An Upstream O&G client is looking for a Senior Engineering Tech to join their Production Operations team. This role will be a long term contract role with a hybrid schedule (mon & fri remote, tues-thurs in office) and half-day Friday's.
The position is responsible for:
*Support engineers and operations managers in daily, weekly and monthly tasks. Assist in data research.
*Provide WellView support from setting up jobs and entering daily reports.
*Help generate AFE support information and attach same in AFE system for routing.
*Support accounting procedures for accruals.
*Support project cost tracking for potential AFE supplementation
*Work with regulatory team on any support information needed for regulatory filings and compliance tasks.
*Utilizing Veris Global, provide support for operations team on any BSEE, USCG or other compliance related tasks.
*Maintain checklists/tasks via Teams, or other applications. Track GOM Decom KPIs.
*Work with planning on updating schedules per engineers' direction.
*Research files as needed and coordinate with records team as directed.
*Focal point for onboarding new personnel to the operations team.

*10+ years of experience as an engineering tech within oil and gas industry
*Proficient in WellView
*Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and planning skills
*Experience with Spotfire and AFENav
